A polynucleotide is a combination of nucleotide monomers which are connected to each other through covalent bonds, in simpler terms DNA. The treatment contains polynucleotides that are derived from wild salmon DNA, which are injected superficially into the skin to stimulate your body’s collagen and elastin production. As polynucleotides are also found naturally within our bodies, this treatment is extremely biocompatible resulting in less adverse reactions compared to other injectable treatments.
An in-depth consultation where we will discuss; suitability for treatment, risks and benefits, treatment consent and pricing, followed by scripting with a Fresh Clinics Dr or Nurse Practitioner. I will then apply a topical numbing cream for 10 minutes and then inject small blebs of Rejuran into the dermis of the skin.

After the treatment you will be provided with aftercare instructions, both verbally and written.
A series of 3 Rejuran I treatments is recommended for best results, 3-4 weeks apart. With maintenance treatments every 6-12 months. You will notice an improvement in the thickness, firmness and hydration of the skin, as well as less dark circles and inflammation. Results can be seen 2 weeks after the treatment, with continued improvement visible 1-3 months post the final treatment.
I require a $50 booking deposit, the deposit is redeemable off the treatment cost. Cosmetic Nurse Consultations cost $50, if you proceed with a treatment the cost will be deducted from your treatment.
Due to the TGA regulations I cannot discuss pricing for wrinkle reduction and volumising treatments online. Pricing will be discussed during the consultation process, before proceeding with any treatment.

At Balanced Cosmetics a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any appointment cancellations to allow time to reallocate your appointment to another client. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, or fail to attend a booked appointment, I reserve the right to not refund your deposit.
